PC Protection

Have you got `bugs' in your computer looking for places to go hide - and then jump up and bite you?  I put `bugs' into three categories - 1) Viruses; 2) Spyware; and 3) Self-induced (from poor care of  your beloved toy).  Of course there are those that blame their problems on the poor guy that built their computer - but consider that carefully.

Here are the programs I recommend to take care of these pests:

1)  The best virus protection I have found is Norton Antivirus, hands down.  It costs about $40 and is worth every penny.

2)  A couple years ago PC Magazine rated Spy Sweeper by Webroot (about $30 at any computer store) the best they had found.

3)  PC `tuneup' is the best way to prevent poor maintenance problems, and I talk about that at PC Tune-up.
